Covered Parts

If a malfunction, defect, or failure occurs in a covered component listed below, we will repair or replace the covered component, subject to the terms and conditions expressed herein. Replacement of any part may be made with parts of like kind and quality at the time of breakdown, including remanufactured or used parts.

Engine

  • Crankshaft and bearings
  • Connecting rods and bearings
  • Thrust bearings and shims
  • Pistons and piston rings
  • Wrist pins
  • Timing gears
  • Timing belt or chain
  • Timing belt tensioner
  • Crankshaft pulley
  • Harmonic balancer
  • Oil pump and pressure relief valve and spring
  • Oil dipstick
  • Camshaft and bearings
  • Lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, rocker arm shafts, cam followers, lash adjusters
  • Intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, replaceable valve guides
  • Balance shaft and bearings
  • Water pump
  • Engine block and cylinder heads are only covered if damage resulted from failure of an above-listed covered part

Automatic Transmission

  • Torque converter
  • Flexplate
  • Front pump
  • Planetary gear set
  • Direct clutch, forward clutch, low and reverse clutch
  • Clutch apply pistons
  • Internal sealing rings
  • Input and output shafts
  • Roller clutches
  • Bands, check balls, band apply servo, drums, center support
  • Governor assembly, vacuum modulator, valve body
  • Stator and stator shaft, bushings, pressure regulator valve and bearings
  • Transmission case is covered if damaged by the failure of an above-listed component

Air Conditioner

  • Air conditioner compressor, clutch, and pulley
  • Evaporator and condenser
  • Accumulator/drier and orifice tubes are only covered in connection with replacement of an above-listed component and only if they have failed

Limit of Liability

The total benefits payable under this Limited Warranty will not exceed $10,000 or 50% of the current N.A.D.A. Trade-in value of the Vehicle, whichever is lower.

Not Covered

  1. Incidental or consequential damages or loss, including property damage, personal injury, inconvenience, or loss of vehicle use
  2. Damage to a covered part by a non-covered part and vice versa
  3. Vehicles used for commercial purposes, including ride-sharing, delivery, canvassing, surveys, etc.
  4. Vehicles with revoked, voided, or no manufacturer’s warranty
  5. Alterations that cause the vehicle to be out of compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications
  6. Replacement or repair of any covered part within allowable manufacturer tolerances
  7. Repairs beyond those required to correct the covered issue
  8. Repairs to modified components or vehicles with altered mileage/odometer
  9. Breakdowns due to lack of proper maintenance, incorrect fluids, collision, abuse, overheating, improper load, road conditions, fires, floods, or other insurance-covered losses
  10. Maintenance items such as alignments, fuel system cleaning, wheel balancing, oil changes, spark plugs, filters, belts, hoses, nuts, bolts, and fasteners
  11. Breakdowns covered by insurance, manufacturer warranty, recall, or repairer’s guarantee
  12. Repairs performed by unlicensed facilities or outside contiguous U.S.
  13. Towing, storage, loaner vehicles, or rentals are not covered

Mechanical Repairs

Pre-authorization is required prior to the commencement of all warranty service. In the event of a warranty claim, please call Motory Group Service Center at 352-260-4695, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. An appointment is required for all services.

In the event of a vehicle breakdown, have the vehicle towed to Motory Group Service Center at 3020 N Main Street, Gainesville, FL 32609, or check the current service center location. Towing may be available at low cost, but it is not covered by the warranty.

Warranty Transfer

This Limited Warranty is non-transferable. It cannot be transferred even if the vehicle is sold.

Other Important Information

Any modification, alteration, or change to the pre-printed terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty is invalid. This Limited Warranty is not an insurance policy, and all obligations and liabilities are those of the Warrantor. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. To the extent allowed by law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the term of this Limited Warranty.
